He goes with you
Today the nearness gets practical: God does not only sit with you, He goes with you. He is ahead of you in what you are walking into, behind you in what you are leaving, and beside you the whole way. That changes how you face an unknown day. You are not scouting the road alone and hoping God shows up. He is already in the day before you arrive. As you go today, picture Him going with you, into the meeting, the hard conversation, the ordinary hours, because that is the truth of it.
And Jehovah, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Deuteronomy 31:8 · ASVMoses tells Joshua that Jehovah Himself goes before him and will not fail or forsake him. The promise pictures God entering what lies ahead first, so His people never arrive anywhere without Him.
Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thy hand upon me.
Psalm 139:5 · ASVDavid says God hems him in behind and before, with His hand laid upon him. The image is of being enclosed on every side by God's presence.

Exodus 33:14 · ASVGod answers Moses' worry with a promise: My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. The presence is what makes the rest possible.
Jehovah will keep thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth and for evermore.
