Nothing counted against you
Carrying old guilt is one of the most common things we do without noticing. You confessed something years ago and still flinch when it comes to mind, as though it were waiting to be raised against you. Scripture is blunt here: for anyone in Christ, there is no condemnation left. Your sin was not brushed aside or made to look smaller than it was, it was dealt with fully and carried away, so far off that God Himself does not go back for it. When an old failure surfaces and tries to define you, you can answer it plainly. It was real, and it is also gone, because that is what God's forgiveness does. You do not have to keep proving you have changed enough for God to keep you.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.
