The Lord is my strength
On a day set apart for Him, name where your strength has been coming from. It comes from God, who carries you when your own reserves run out. The Lord is my strength is more than a line in a song, it is the plain account of how you are still standing. Let that settle in today. Life will keep asking more than you have, and the same God who is your strength now will be your strength in whatever comes. Rest in being carried, and walk into what is ahead leaning on Him.
Jehovah is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: this is my God, and I will praise him.
Exodus 15:2 · ASVIsrael sings this after God carried them through the sea, calling Him my strength and my song. Strength and worship come together in response to having been delivered.
