He steadies you
Strength is not only power to push forward, it is the steadiness to stay standing. God arms you for the road and keeps your footing when it should give way. That changes how you face a shaky stretch. Youare not balancing on your own and hoping you do not fall. He is the one holding you upright. Even when you stumble, you are not thrown down for good, because the hand steadying you is His. Lean your weight on the Rock that does not move, and let Him be the reason you are still on your feet.
The God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
Psalm 18:32 · ASVDavid credits God with arming him with strength and making his way straight. The strength to walk the road is attributed to God's girding rather than to one's own footing.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for Jehovah upholdeth him with his hand.
Psalm 37:24 · ASVThe psalm says a good person may stumble but will not be utterly thrown down, because God keeps a hand on him. A stumble is not final when God is the one steadying the person.
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my high tower; I shall not be moved.
Psalm 62:6 · ASVDavid calls God his rock, salvation, and high tower, then concludes I shall not be moved. Standing firm is tied to who God is rather than to how strong a person feels.
It is vain for you to rise up early, to take rest late, to eat the bread of toil: for so he giveth unto his beloved sleep.
Psalm 127:2 · ASVThe psalm calls anxious overwork pointless and says God gives sleep to those He loves. Rest is presented as a gift from God rather than something earned by striving.
