Grace enough for it
When a hard thing does not go away, the question shifts from take it away to can I survive this. God's answer is grace, and grace is His sufficiency meeting you in the exact place you are short. He rarely gives strength for the whole road at once. He gives enough for today, and then enough again tomorrow, like manna. That is why looking too far ahead overwhelms you, you do not have grace yet for next month, you have it for now. Ask only for what this day requires, and trust that when next week comes, the grace for it will be there too.
As thy days, so shall thy strength be.
Deuteronomy 33:25 · ASVMoses' blessing promises strength measured to each day. The wording points to daily provision rather than a stockpile laid up for the future.
And God is able to make all grace abound unto you; that ye, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8 · ASVPaul says God can make all grace abound toward His people, so that they always have enough for every good work. The grace described is not rationed but abundant.
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man.
Ephesians 3:16 · ASVPaul prays that God would strengthen believers with power through His Spirit in the inner being. The strengthening Paul asks for happens inwardly, in the hidden part of a person.
Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:34 · ASVJesus tells His hearers not to be anxious about tomorrow, since each day has enough of its own. The teaching points to grace given for the present day rather than borrowed against the future.
